I equally admired Robert Forster‘s contribution within The Go-Betweens, as that of the very much missed Grant McLennan. the first time I saw them, opening for Lloyd Cole, they played as a duo, and some time later they reformed The Go-Betweens. the final concert, in Los Angeles’ Troubadour was an incredible experience for their fantastic final album Oceans Apart— a most favorite album, by one of my favorite bands. here, true to Robert Forster‘s approach, a different and very good experience… and as always, a great sense of humor shining through. the great thing about taking photographs at concert that have no audience/customer: it provides (most often!) the right memory-trigger for the event and the performer, and here is one of those examples.
