not only were these series of concerts great, but it was very formative— as I can see from the photos taken. more importantly, was using Aaron as a portrait subject… and then the ability to be close enough to see how the “but the microphone is in focus” [ link ] approach. it would be another couple of years, at the time of Today Was Another Day, that we would meet again for a few more concerts. I cannot be overlooked that the band was so warm and welcoming towards me and my feverish idea of taking photographs and recording the gigs.
